See, Play, Experience
Mojiko Area
Located on the second floor of the Marine Gate Moji, this is an exhibition hall that disseminates information about the Kanmon Strait.
The Kanmon Strait is a long, narrow passage of water connecting the Sea of Hibiki on the side of the Japan Sea and the Sea of Suo on the side of the Seto Inland Sea. This strait is known to be difficult to pass through. In this facility, you can operate cameras placed in three spots along the Kanmon Strait to observe geographical features, ships passing through the strait, navigational aids, etc. in real time.
The ship-steering simulation video for training use provides you with a simulated experience of a voyage through the Kanmon Strait. Learn about marine safety through this experience here.
