This is a 108-meter-long drawbridge for the exclusive use of pedestrians, one of the longest of its kind.

A drawbridge is a bridge that can be raised.

Blue Wing Moji is raised at an angle of 60°to the water surface six times a day.

Located at the best spot for viewing the Kanmon Strait and the Kanmon Bridge, this bridge was selected as a "Lovers' Sanctuary" because it is believed that the first couple who cross the bridge after it is closed will be united in marriage.

At night, the entire bridge is illuminated, and its beauty will deeply impress you. You may be satisfied to stroll around the nearby area because buildings surrounding the bridge are also illuminated.

Hours	Times when the bridge is raised: 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m. (The bridge will remain closed for 20 minutes after being raised.)
