Premier Hotel Mojiko (former Mojiko Hotel)
A designer hotel overlooking the Kanmon Strait
This hotel was designed by the representative 20th-century Italian architect Aldo Rossi (May 3, 1931–September 4, 1997).
His work had a great impact on the international circle of architects, and received the Pritzker Architecture Prize, known as the Nobel Prize in architecture, in 1990. The first building in Japan designed by him is the Hotel il Palazzo in Fukuoka City, opened in 1989.
Mojiko Hotel (present-day Premier Hotel Mojiko), opened in 1998, provides an extraordinary, relaxing atmosphere in your everyday life, featuring an exterior matching the landscapes of the Mojiko Retro area, which has maintained streets dating back to the Taisho era, and an interior with original coloring.
The hotel also boasts a buffet-style breakfast, which allows you to enjoy plenty of seasonal products, a steak house serving dry-aging meat, an authentic Italian restaurant featuring locally caught marine products, etc.
A beautiful view of the Kanmon Strait from the hotel rooms is a "feast" for the eyes.
